Job title – Car park assistant
Based at - Belfast City Airport
Hourly rate - £12.80

Contract hours: 20. Hours to be discussed

 

Key Duties: As a car park assistant based at Belfast City Airport, you will be responsible for the following duties.

A basic day to day running and upkeep of the car parks. First line barrier repairs and ticket machine maintenance Drive the courtesy shuttle bus to and from the terminal to the train halt which is within the airport boundary. Radio communication and liaise with security control General housekeeping, including litter picking, and carrying out car park inspections Speak with traveling passengers and answer any queries Issue passes to airport venders and arrange coach entry as and when is necessary To ensuring a smooth flow of traffic within the airport boundary Making selective car park bookings Control room duties, remote access, barrier operation and handling intercom queries Managing vehicle upkeep and refuelling Any other duty deemed appropriate by the team's supervisor

Essential information:

      Must have a 5-year checkable history
      Must pass a colour vision test
      Must have been in the UK for 3 years Must be 25 years or over and hold a full clean driving License. Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a “Can do ‘' attitude with an ability to multi-task. Excellent Customer Service and communication skills. Enjoy working with people in a busy environment and have the confidence to work alone and make decisions.

 

All applicants must be physically fit in order to assist with passengers and car park duties in general.

 

Full training and uniform will be supplied
