About the role
In this role you will coordinate and support the implementation of pricing processes and policies, create business rules in the pricing systems for cargo pricing requirements and provide input in development of pricing related tools.
The role is also required to steer regional pricing, quotations and sales towards achieving set pricing targets in terms of rate levels, materialization, process compliance and ancillary revenues
As Cargo Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible to:
Propose, align and set the global pricing strategy for multiple sales regions across all customers and products for freight rates and ancillaries
Using your passion for commercial strategy and analysis to independently build insights from data to steer the regional pricing teams and sales organization
Based on commercial requirements, collect and prepare data to produce useful analysis and insights for management decision making
Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to define strategic pricing initiatives and priorities, set goals and conduct periodic performance with the regional pricing teams and sales organisation
Steer the regional pricing teams and sales organization towards the target O&D, product and weight break mix
Design and align global strategies for pricing of verticals, distribution channels and partner airlines
Lead the creation of process, system and data-related projects to assure the organization is set to create and sustain the strategic Pricing initiatives
Leading various improvement projects while ensuring the projects are executed based on commitments, expectations and deliverables identified in the by you defined project plans
Part of the implementation of the transformation initiatives by re-engineering existing Pricing processes and develop new Pricing processes
Monitor compliance to revenue integrity initiatives and take corrective action if required
