**CarelonRx National Account Executive**
**Location:** ** This field-based role enables associates to primarily** **operate** **in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. The **CarelonRx National Account Executive** is responsible for retention, growth, and client satisfaction strategies for the largest, most complex clients within CarelonRx National Accounts, with a specific focus on pharmacy benefit management (PBM). Typical group size is greater than 25,000 with a total book of business membership of 100,000 or more.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with key executive-level stakeholders, including VP and C-suite decision-makers, as well as national pharmacy consultant leaders.
+ Develops and executes multi-year strategic account plans to achieve retention, service excellence, and business growth.
+ Oversees implementation and fulfillment of complex PBM contractual arrangements including custom performance guarantees, rebate strategies, benefit design, and reporting.
+ Leads the renewal process for assigned accounts, including underwriting coordination, financial analysis, proposal development, and client presentations.
+ Partners cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across clinical, operations, underwriting, sales, and specialty pharmacy to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client needs.
+ Drives operational excellence by resolving service issues, conducting root cause analysis, and leading recovery plans that directly impact client satisfaction and retention.
+ Utilizes data analytics to monitor account performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions to support growth and retention.
+ Supports penetration of PBM and specialty services within existing accounts by identifying and delivering innovative, value-added solutions.
+ Mentors and trains lower-level account management staff to promote development and foster a high-performance client-centric culture.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 9 years of experience in account management, PBM, or large-scale client relationship management, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**
+ Strongly prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience with client groups greater than 25,000 members.
+ Experience in a client facing role preferred.
+ Experience with PBM preferred.
