Caregiver Resource Navigator - #Staff

We are seeking a **_Caregiver Resource Navigator_** who will administratively coordinate research protocol implementation, typically for a single study. Will ensure the efficient logistical implementation of the study activities and provide administrative support for all related issues.
This position is responsible for providing individualized and group-based support to caregivers with disabilities as part of a one-year pilot intervention, helping to build trust, foster connection, and ensure access to meaningful resources.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate all activities of a research study to ensure validity of findings.
+ Work with the Principal Investigator or senior research staff to develop operational plans to meet research goals.
+ Develop tools and procedures for data collection and study processes.
+ Collect and organize data per study requirements, e.g. participant interviews, administer questionnaires; conduct background research, laboratory processing, etc.
+ Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures.
+ Assist with setup of data collection system and enter and organize data.
+ Oversee record management for research study.
+ Oversee budget expenditures for study operations.
+ Assist in coordinating study meetings.
+ Participate in study meetings and provide updates on protocol implementation status and make recommendations on operational issues.
+ Conduct literature searches to provide background information.
**Supplemental position details:**
+ Conduct one-on-one sessions with caregivers to assess needs, develop individualized care navigation plans, and connect them to appropriate resources (e.g., healthcare, financial assistance, respite care, disability services).
+ Provide ongoing advocacy and follow-up to ensure continuity of care and support.
+ Facilitate regular group sessions focused on mental health, peer support, wellness, and system navigation.
+ Foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment that supports community-building among caregivers with disabilities.
+ Collaborate with the research team to align activities with study goals and maintain accurate documentation for program evaluation.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond HS diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Related undergraduate or work experience in research.
+ Experience facilitating support groups and providing resource navigation
+ Lived experience as a caregiver and/or person with a disability is highly value
+ Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or caregivers, preferably in a community-based or peer support setting.
