A Little About Us:

At Spread Your Wings (SYW), our Direct Care Staff (DCS) provide one-on-one support in the homes of our clients, offering them a safe, nurturing environment. Our goal is to help our clients live as independently as possible, supporting them through personalized care tailored to their needs.

As a DCS, you’ll be a crucial part of our clients' lives, helping them with everything from daily activities to emergency response. Your role will be to provide guidance, teach new skills, and offer encouragement in a compassionate, professional manner.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Assist and encourage clients with daily living skills (grocery shopping, meal prep, budgeting, etc.)Support clients in maintaining good hygiene and personal careTeach and encourage community involvement, like using public transportation or going to appointmentsProvide crisis intervention when neededOther tasks as needed to ensure the well-being of clients
