Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) per IAC standards. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members. Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards. Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.  Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions. Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Cross-functional responsibilities include: Performs EKGs, Stress and Nuclear Stress testing, EEG, and any other delegated duties, with training and support.  Complies with the IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) Standard Protocol & utilization of saline & contrast

 

Echo Sonographer II
Includes skills of Sonographer Level 1+ Strain & Pedoff, Basic 3D, Stress Echo
