Responsibilities
As our CardiovascularTechnologist at CHI St Vincent, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.
Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging orderRoutinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate from an approved CVT Program requiredCurrent Radiology License (ARRT) requiredCurrent Arkansas State License (MRAD:AR)Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certificationsTwo (2) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization LaboratoryExperience as cardiovascular monitoring technologist to include but not limited to A-Line and IV insertion and all modalities within the Cath LabOverview
