Apply today for our Cardiovascular Procedure Registered Nurse RN opportunity. **Job Summary and Qualifications** As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. **What you will do in this role:** + Follows all hospital safety procedures including universal precautions, operating equipment and use of proper body mechanics. + Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians, and staff). + Demonstrates effective communication skills. + Demonstrates proficiency in department procedures including stress testing, holter monitors, transesophageal echocardiograms, direct current cardioversions, and cardiopulmonary stress tests and Linq insertion. + Recognizes contraindications for stress testing as well as appropriate versus inappropriate response to testing. + Coordinates daily schedule to ensure timely completion of testing. + Completes mandatory hospital and department competencies as assigned. + Participates in department CQI activities. + Able to administer conscious sedation in minimal lighting for TEE/CV procedures. **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred + Current RN Virginia license or has a compact multistate license + Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Required: One year experience as a staff nurse on a Telemetry or Critical Care Unit + Preferred: Stress Lab Experience **Benefits** Chippenham Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
