Details & Responsibilities:

Candidates must have at least two years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery or in the cardiovascular ICU4-day workweek makes for a great work/life balanceCollaboration with structural heart, critical care, and thoracic oncologyDaily rounds in the CVICU and stepdown unitsManage critically ill post op cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including hemodynamic interpretation and medication management within the CVICUDevelop and implement patient management plans independently and in collaboration with surgeonsAssist surgeons in the O.R. and perform minor procedures at bedsideFacilitate length of stay, discharge planning, and compliance with regulatory standards for inpatient management
