Job Summary and Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center health care philosophy, the invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is proficient in the preparation of the patient for all procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology and EP Laboratory. The incumbent is a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) with training and scrub experience and training in both Cath and EP Labs. The Tech is also responsible for the maintenance, inventory, stocking & sterile preparations of all equipment, parts, catheter devices & room preparations for each procedure.

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology Certification school in California (CA) orpassed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.Current or within previous 2 years, work in cardiac catheterization service areas (Exceptions made in case by case basis).Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD:CA)Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA (FLRAD:CA)

Minimum 3 years current hands-on x-ray and scrub experience within an interventional EP LabAngiographic experience with scrubbing.Hemodynamic Monitoring Experience.
