Qualifications: Required: + High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required. + Completion of cardio thoracic step down unit technician orientation modules/class/clinical Certifications and Licenses Required: + Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Scheduling Requirements: + Nights + PT Essential Functions: + Operates and assists in the monitoring of a patient on the Cardio thoracic Step down Unit. + Administers individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardio thoracic step down unit procedures. + Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures under the direction and supervision of an RN. + Executes special assignments with the unit assigned to them by the Nurse Manager/PCC/CC/RN.
