Advanced Practice Provider Cardiac Surgery PRN

Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the cardiac team providing excellent patient care to our surgical patients. You will be joining a team of thirteen advanced practice providers and solely focus on cardiac surgery. This is a PRN opportunity working shifts as needed.

Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.

In this role you will:

Round on postop patientsProvide office consults one day per week with a designated surgeonEVH and chest closure in the ORThoracentesis and chest tube insertion and careProvide care to LVAD patients

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of cardiac surgery/EVH experience.

Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
