As a Cardiac Sonographer II at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

Provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patients undergoing echocardiography testing and/or proceduresAcquire ultrasound images, evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practiceProcess echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelinesActive participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facility
 

Schedule: 

6:30a - 5:00p10 hour shiftsRotating weekendsRotating holidaysRotating on call

General Requirements: 

2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experiencePrevious pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound, TAVR experience preferredRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position.
