About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate mechanic with a love for vintage and older model vehicles to join our team in beautiful Alamogordo, New Mexico. This is a unique opportunity for someone ready to relocate and immerse themselves in hands-on restoration and maintenance work. Whether you’re semi-retired, a weekend wrench-turner, or just looking for a change of pace, this role offers flexibility, charm, and a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
• \tDiagnose, repair, and maintain older vehicles (primarily pre-2000 models)
• \tPerform routine maintenance: oil changes, brake jobs, tune-ups, etc.
• \tTroubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions
• \tMaintain a clean and organized workspace
• \tCollaborate with a small, dedicated team of car enthusiasts
What We’re Looking For
• \tProven experience working on older cars (classic or vintage experience a plus)
• \tStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• \tAbility to work independently and manage time effectively
• \tWillingness to relocate to Alamogordo (housing provided at no cost)
