Job DescriptionAECOM’s Federal Environmental Portfolio is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager for immediate employment in, or nearby, Huntsville, Alabama. The individual will be primarily responsible for account management activities as well as the pursuit and management of new prime contracts and FFP/CPFF task orders with oversight on cost/budget, schedule, and quality.
The applicant shall be competent, experienced, and knowledgeable in the full range of HTRW activities from investigations, to studies, designs, remediation, short-term operations and maintenance, as well as Military Munitions Response (MMR) actions. The successful candidate will also lead business development and marketing activities and the implementation of record keeping, administrative, and quality control programs. This individual will serve as our primary point of contact for all coordination with the USACE Huntsville Center and, potentially, Red Stone Arsenal.
This is a part time opportunity.
Primary responsibilities and key characteristics of the role also include, but are not limited to:
Assist with AECOM’s Munitions Response Business Development for opportunities released by USACE Huntsville Center.Serve as munitions response Capture Manager; lead proposal efforts including technical approach, pricing, and managing support staff.Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.Provide guidance preparing munitions response proposals, executing projects, and delivering the program. Support delivery of existing munitions response investigations, removal actions, and decontamination and disposal efforts.

Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationDue to the nature of the work, US citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain/maintain a US Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
15+ years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects5+ years’ experience managing Munitions Response and CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville CenterHigh degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environmentExperience with USACE Huntsville Center and Redstone Arsenal, ALProximity (two-hour drive) to USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone ArsenalAble and willing to travelDemonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budgetKnowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controlsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and writtenAdvanced report writing skillsOrganizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented workSelf-motivated, driven, and hard workingExperienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classificationDemonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposalsDemonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processesAdditional Information
