What this job involves:

As a Capital Planning Analyst at JLL, you will join our national Project and Development Services (PDS) Capital Planning platform where our PDS group delivers more than just a project by managing the design and construction of real estate projects from beginning to end, handling every detail on our clients' behalf to deliver the largest return on investment. This Business Analyst position is focused exclusively on the Capital Planning business and provides the opportunity to be involved at every stage including gathering client data requirements and collecting and collating identified data, supporting data management and accuracy as a Capital Planning project is developed, reviewing and analyzing client data for accuracy in support of client engagement goals, and developing and generating comprehensive reporting and analytics in support of client engagements as well as driving management intelligence.

What your day-to-day will look like:Engage to understand client business requirements and data to advise users on the right analytics to communicate the intended message to the target audienceResponsible for a range of analyst activities from simple and efficient data entry, management, and analysis to complex financial modeling exercises in Excel and SmartsheetGenerate business intelligence reporting and analytics to support telling the story of the dataManage the identification, prioritization, and remediation of data quality issuesParticipate in the design and development of technical solutions to ensure that business requirements are satisfiedParticipate in and lead weekly client meetings as assigned in support of the Capital Planning processCreate complex formulas and nested functions while developing dynamic dashboards and interactive reports using PivotTables and Pivot ChartsDesign and maintain complex financial models and forecasts while working with large datasets and optimizing spreadsheet performanceRequired Qualifications:Degree/diploma or relevant educational background in statistics/data analytics/computer science or general degree with data/analysis focus with 3 to 4 years of working experience in data and digital delivery-oriented rolesDemonstrated ability to create complex formulas and nested functions (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS)Experience developing dynamic dashboards and interactive reports using PivotTables and Pivot ChartsProven ability to design and maintain complex financial models and forecastsAbility to work with large datasets and optimize spreadsheet performanceExcellence in relationship management with deep understanding of organizational structures including developing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with key stakeholders at all levelsExperience navigating complex corporate hierarchies and matrix structures effectivelyMust be familiar with real estate department enterprise management businessAdvanced use of SmartsheetUnderstanding of data and systems engineering concepts to effectively integrate and analyze data to develop actionable business information deliverablesAble to think logically, organize workflows efficiently, and solve problems independentlyOutstanding communication skills—oral and writtenPreferred Qualifications:Specific real estate industry vertical experience or specialtyExperience in Tableau and Power BIExperience with corporate real estate business and/or JLL PDS and construction project/program managementUnderstanding of Capital Planning processes and methodologiesKnowledge of real estate financial analysis and modelingExperience with data quality management and remediation processesUnderstanding of business intelligence reporting tools and analytics platformsExperience leading client meetings and stakeholder presentations

Estimated compensation for this position:

80,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
