Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and manage engineering projects in thermoforming and plastic packaging operations.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of relevant Capital Project Engineering experience Proficiency in CAD/Solid Modeling tools (AutoCAD and/or Solidworks) Strong mechanical design experience

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of thermoforming, plastic materials, and packaging design Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage cross-functional projects from design through implementation Support new product development, tooling, and equipment installation Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for new initiatives Assist with plant layout planning, workflow optimization, and process improvements Maintain detailed project documentation including timelines, budgets, and progress reports Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices Participate in lean manufacturing, sustainability, and continuous improvement efforts

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
