FS Consulting at PwC Poland is made up of specialists who prepare solutions to support effective management of regulatory, market, credit and operational risks. Our work involves not only analyzing financial statements, but above all drawing conclusions and practically implementing new regulations, weighing their impact on our customers' business model, operational processes, and IT systems. We implement projects for financial institutions across Europe in cooperation with PwC Germany, with special focus on the German financial market.
We are looking for:
Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services Team Member with German
Your future role: Support our national and international clients in resolving complex accounting and capital markets-related issues under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), Assist banks, insurance companies, and asset managers in resolving complex accounting and regulatory questions, particularly concerning financial instruments, insurance contracts, structured transactions, or regulatory-driven accounting challenges under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), Engage in a wide range of projects, including IFRS conversions, implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, 15, 16, 17), and tackle accounting-related matters in M&A or private equity deals, Support capital market projects, including due diligence, prospectus preparation, comfort letter processes, and fairness opinions, collaborating with colleagues from Audit, M&A, Tax, and Legal, Contribute to the development of innovative, tech-enabled solutions for the digitalization of finance functions, embracing low-code/no-code tools, data analytics, and process mining, Work closely with specialists in risk management, regulatory reporting, and IT to provide integrated solutions for our clients. Apply if you have: Successfully completed (or are about to complete) a degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on accounting, finance, or auditing, A strong interest in IFRS and HGB accounting, with some practical experience gained through internships in auditing, accounting, or consulting, Excellent analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative mindset, Enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment and are fluent in both German and English.
