Job Summary100% Remote position
The primary responsibility is to supervise a team of analysts who conduct updates to the Epic Cadence system to assist outpatient practices in achieving patient access goals. You must also work with end users to understand the workflow and its interdependencies. Make corrective system adjustments or enhancements as needed. You are the central communication point for assigned users and coordinate activities for the Capacity Management team. This position assists with updating provider templates in Epic, planning and executing access improvement projects and contributing to the continued development of the team. This role also works with the Capacity Management Manager to lead process and project planning for the team.
The pay range for this position is $36.49/hour (entry level qualifications) - $63.11/hour (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
Essential Functions of the RoleServe as a functional and technical Subject Matter Expert on the application and Baylor Scott and White workflows. Apply good knowledge of the technology and enterprise processes. Collaborate closely with all teams to drive a holistic patient perspective.Oversee and lead a team of Capacity Management Analysts who are responsible for maintaining provider templates in Epic including related Epic build.Analyze analytics and related Epic build and recommend updates to help practices achieve patient access goals.Create, modify and track system build timely and effectivelyPlan and execute project plans related to internal team projects and external customer focused, patient access improvement projects.Oversee quality assurance for the team to ensure that the team is meeting not only turnaround time SLA’s but also maintaining a high level of accuracy on all updates.Provide Application Support, Implement system updates and changes, and communicate those changes to super users and end users.Engage, manage, communicate and earn the care and respect of all stakeholders. Developing a strong collaborative relationship with stakeholders from related teams and clinical leadership is imperative for this role.Train and mentor Application Analysts.Solve problems by studying business issues /requirements, examining both data and workflows and synthesizing key messages.Key Success Factors
Deep Epic application knowledge to build, test, help and train.Attention to detail with the ability to validate complex documentation.An understanding of process improvement principles as they relate to patient access in outpatient practices.Ability to work well in team environments.Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals.Self-motivated supervisor who can identify and resolve issues, and advance personal knowledge.Ability to execute complex tasks through organization and details energized approach.Ability and experience knowledge end user workflow and owning the technical components of that workflow.Demonstrates excellent mutual communication skills, among facility customers and team members.A quick learner of software and information technology, and motivated to learn new applications.Experience in Hospital Business or Clinic environment preferred.Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Epic Cadence Certification strongly preferred.
