				Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is looking for an experienced professional to own Amazon´s last mile capacity execution.
The Capacity Execution Manager is directly responsible for managing intra-week capacity execution in the last mile. This manager will be responsible for tracking last mile capacity utilization, working with operations teams to increase or decrease capacity as needed according to actual volume trends for the next 1-5 days.
The capacity execution manager interacts at a tactical/managerial level with station leaders, regional managers, program leaders (Flex, EDSP, OTR) and operations teams to define the best use of Amazon's last mile capacity. They manage the execution of last mile capacity on a daily basis, having a critical role with direct impact on customer experience.
This position leads a team of capacity planning specialists which are directly responsible for tracking capacity utilization in Amazon TMS, adjusting such capacities as needed and managing critical metrics such as volume attainment within coverage.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies. You must be comfortable with dealing with shifting priorities and decision making. You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in operations management planning and hands-on experience in such activities are a must.
Key job responsibilities
Work internally with Last Mile Planning team to capture baseline forecast and main capacity gaps identified for weekly execution (if any).
Own Amazon TMS (transportation Management System) configurations for the last mile, focused specifically on capacity configurations.
Work directly on calculating, based on existing methodologies and systems, volume revision for D+1 to D+3, communicating new resource requirements to operations teams (routes, labor).
Lead and improve the process of capacity adjustment, pushing for flexibility and speed to optimize for volume and cost.
Work with multiple stakeholders (EDSP, DSP, Flex, Hub) to align on key re-planning assumptions and push for fast decision making. Drive resource adjustments to increase or decrease capacity at operations as needed.
Lead calls and coordinate action items and follow-up on critical topics related to balancing capacity and demand in the last mile at an intra-week execution level.
Work on and deploy process and systems improvements in the last mile planning scope, benchmarking on state-of-the-art processes, working with product and internal teams to deploy such improvements.
