How you will contribute
This role is a critical partner to our manufacturing team at the Suttontown site, famous for the manufacture of Philadelphia cream cheese. Leading the integrated Capability & People agenda, you will partner with the business to define and implement initiatives that drive employee engagement, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure robust training governance across the site.
As a member of the Suttontown Plant Leadership Team, you will contribute to defining and implementing the cultural and capability strategy required to enable delivery of the site’s business objectives.
Capability Lead Activities
Own and oversee the total site training governance framework, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and audit requirementsMaintain training systems, qualification matrices, competency records, and documentation integrityLead internal and external training audits; proactively close gaps and implement corrective actionsStandardise and continuously improve training documentation, onboarding materials, and assessment processesCoordinate and support the development of site trainers, assessors, and subject matter expertsAct as trainer and assessor where requiredDrive development and rollout of competency frameworks, learning pathways, and certification programsMonitor training effectiveness using defined KPIs and data analytics to generate insight and continuous improvement actionsManage and improve digital learning tools and training delivery systems to ensure usability and system integrityCollaborate with department heads and operational leaders to identify training needs and translate them into structured learning interventionsAlign local initiatives with regional and corporate L&D strategyPeople Lead Activities
Drive improvement in employee engagement through structured plans and measurable actionsBuild capability of people managers, frontline leaders, and site teamsLead the site execution of the Mondelēz HR/People calendar, including:Goal Setting Alignment and ReviewPerformance CalibrationDevelopment PlanningGrowing Here WeekSupport talent and succession discussions at site levelProvide guidance on IR/ER policies and practices within the Australian jurisdiction, partnering with central IR/ER Manager as requiredContribute broadly to site performance as an active member of the Plant Leadership TeamWhat you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
4+ years HR / People & Culture generalist experienceCert IV in Training & Assessment (mandatory)Demonstrated experience in learning & development within manufacturing, FMCG or operational environmentsStrong understanding of competency-based training systems and training governance frameworksExperience managing audits and compliance requirementsStrong project management and organisational capabilityAnalytical mindset with ability to track and interpret training and engagement dataExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skillsAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionHR / Business degree or equivalent experience (advantageous)Experience with IR/ER practices within the Australian context (advantageous)No Relocation support availableBusiness Unit Summary
