Join a recently formed Independent Joint Venture organisation in the Energy sector as a Capability Advisor, where you will play a crucial role in shaping & defining the capability needs of the Upstream UK business and driving strategic initiatives in a dynamic industry. Delivery will be across entire UK upstream portfolio with primary focus on production & maintenance disciplines.

Role Overview

Lead key programs: external apprenticeship and Global Graduate & technical programmes. Own the Technician Progression process in line with global pay & remuneration policy. Coordinate & facilitate Leadership Team People Connects to enhance talent health across disciplines. Participate in external forums such as ECITB, OEUK, OPITO, representing organizational interests. Oversee governance on Upstream UK competence assurance standards. Focus on continuous improvement through Competence Matrix reviews and competency management. Manage digital tools including Power BI Competence Assurance Dashboard and SharePoint Repository. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholder reviews.

Skills & Qualifications

User Training and Education: Proven experience in training and development. Change Management: Strong background in coaching and managing change. Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills to influence across all levels. Analytical Skills: Ability to utilize data for performance enhancement. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with OPITO, ECITB, and OEUK. Digital Proficiency: Experience with Power BI and SharePoint.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Proven experience working with frontline production and maintenance personnel.

Pay & Benefits
