Job Summary:

This role oversees and directs staff, formulating and implementing patient care policies and standards of care for patients. This role may prepare Commission on Cancer Accreditation (CoC) American College of Radiology (ACR) surveys, and demonstrates, and supports the Core Values through caring actions and effective communication. 

Essential Functions: 

Plans, implements, and evaluates designated oncology services and administrative operations. Oversees budgetary parameters and daily productivity metrics. Establishes and maintains patient care protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Develops and implements quality improvement, safety, and patient care programs. Supervises and evaluates clinical staff. Participates in policy development, long-term planning, and project implementation.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (must obtain within 5 years of hire) (required) 


Licensure/Certification:

Registered Nurse in the state of practice or State License in Radiation Oncology (preferred)  Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Radiation Oncology Certification/Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(Preferred) CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (required) 

Experience:

2 years’ leadership experience (preferred) 2 years’ Oncology or Acute Care Experience (required) Radiation Oncology experience (preferred)
