Dewey Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive company, is currently looking for a talented Dealership Cancellation Clerk to support our accounting team in processing daily operational transactions and various other aspects of the automotive accounting field. This position will office in the Centralized Accounting Office in Clive, IA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Process warranty / insurance cancellations Issue refund checks as neededGenerate General Journal entries/ post to GLAssist customer's and Finance Managers with questions regarding refundsPost invoices from insurance companiesPost credit memos from insurance companiesReconcile A/R schedules Research unpaid A/ROther duties as required

Here’s what you’ll need:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, particularly Excel, and the general use of a computer and calculatorMust have ability to multitask and must be detail orientedStrong numeracy, analytical, time management, verbal, and technology skillsMust have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and informationKnowledge of accounting software and dealership software a plus
