Our client, an educational institution dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment, is seeking a Campus Monitor to join their team. As a Campus Monitor, you will be an essential part of the safety and security team, supporting the overall well-being of students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Campus Monitor
**Sourcing for 2 roles**
- **Floater/Per Diem** , must be able to cover any shift -as early as 630am till as late as 730pm, shifts can be Inside or Outside
- **Medical Leave coverage** - 1-2 months, possibly longer based on need
M-Fri 730am-300pm, Inside Monitor
**Location:** Yorktown Heights, NY
**Pay Rate: 18.50/hr.**
**What's the Job?**
+ Sign in anyone coming to school buildings to ensure proper access control
+ Check IDs of visitors and staff to maintain security protocols
+ Monitor parking lot activity to ensure safety and order
+ Oversee bus arrivals and departures to support student transportation safety
+ Assist with screenings and other security procedures as needed
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement or security experience
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons
+ Strong observational skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Willingness to perform screenings and enforce safety protocols
