About Business Unit:

The EMEA Merchant Acquisition Sales organization is a sales team of different nationalities speaking more than 28 languages based in Madrid. Our teams successfully acquire and manage relationships with merchants in all European Markets. 

 

Key activities will include: 

Understanding business hierarchy and identifying key market opportunities. 

Learning to conduct business reviews for top-managed accounts, including industry trends, merchant activity analysis, and franchise plans. 

Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports for business meetings. 

Conducting market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis in specific industries. 

Supporting account managers in collecting and consolidating marketing and regulatory information. 

Coordinating transversal projects within the Operations and Planning Control (OPC) team. 

Assisting in Know Your Customer (KYC) data collection and compliance processes. 

Providing administrative support in franchise campaigns, including data verification, database updates, and campaign reporting. 

 

Desirable Qualifications/Skills & Experience/Language Requirements: 

Fluent in English & Spanish and ideally German 

Ability to multitask and prioritize  

Strong organizational skills  

Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills 

Good communication skills  

Experience in Financial services is desirable

For Recent Graduate Students: 

Alongside your internship you will be enrolled on programme coordinated by Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE). This programme will allow students to focus on productivity, adaptive management and innovation, to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, collaborating directly on the management and optimization of commercial processes. The student will develop essential skills in project management, data analysis, and negotiation, which are critical for future integration into the labor market. 

To enroll the programme, the candidate must have completed the degree or due to submit the final degree project, or the final degree project plus 9 ECTS max.
