The Campaign Manager coordinates activities related to the Boston Children’s Hospital comprehensive fundraising campaign. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Campaign Manager supports all aspects of the campaign including developing and implementing strategies, tracking and monitoring campaign progress, events, stewardship, and volunteer management. This role will work closely with staff across BCH Trust including frontline gift officers, communications, donor relations, and operations. This position requires excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills, problem-solving and team mentality.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
+ Support long-range planning for the campaign by implementing and utilizing project management tools, such as Smartsheets, to document key goals, objectives and timelines.
+ Track and monitor campaign activity, developing and preparing campaign progress reports, including updates on revenue, gift table, pipeline activity, and donor engagement.
+ Plan and organize meetings and events for campaign volunteer leadership, ensuring successful execution. This will include working in coordination with gift officers, Communications, Donor Relations, and faculty to develop agendas, speaking points, and briefings in support of stewarding and staffing campaign committee.
+ Cultivate relationships across the Trust to advance all campaign initiatives in communications, stewardship, pipeline development, reporting and campaign policies.
+ Initiate and support efforts in coordination with campaign counsel, including feasibility study and staff, faculty and volunteer training.
+ Take on other duties and project support as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in development; experience in a mid- to high-volume healthcare development office preferred.
+ Previous campaign experience is a plus.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills to plan and execute initiatives involving multiple contributors.
+ Proactive self-starter with a high degree of initiative, motivation, and follow-through; able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information effectively.
+ Consistent attention to detail, high productivity, and solution-oriented approach to staff and donor issues.
+ Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
