**Period: 3 months**
**The Role:**
The Firmware Engineer will design, develop, and maintain firmware for a variety of consumer electronics and peripherals. You will work in a central organisation developing
common firmware and helping create these new and innovative experiences. You will be a key contributor in imagining, and developing experience of future products, as well as enhancing current products
**Your Contribution:**
- Design, develop, and test firmware for Logitech products.
- Work with microcontrollers (e.g., STM32x, NRF52x, Ti CCx) and embedded systems.
- Develop sensor interfacing and implement various communication protocols (e.g., UART, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi, I2C, SPI).
- Manage memory (Flash, EEPROM) and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Debug and resolve firmware issues at the system level.
- Improve product performance, reliability, and stability.
- Collaborate with global teams across different functional areas.
- Implement security measures within the firmware.
- Work with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, QP/C, or Zephyr.
- Focus on microcontroller power management.
- Work with specific hardware/peripherals like LCDs and touchscreens.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in firmware development for embedded systems (specific years of experience vary depending on the seniority level of the role).
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and programming.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience with communication protocols and sensor interfacing.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems.
- Experience with RTOS, power management, security implementation, and specific hardware components are highly desirable.
