Camera Image Quality Tuning Engineer
Job Title: Camera Image Quality Tuning EngineerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Camera Image Quality Tuning Engineer to optimize and deliver superior image quality across our echo device portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek platforms and a proven track record in camera tuning. Responsibilities + Perform end-to-end camera tuning on Qualcomm/MediaTek platforms. + Optimize image quality parameters for various lighting conditions and use cases. + Configure and optimize image processing parameters including sharpening, noise reduction, and color reproduction. + Create and maintain tuning documentation. + Collaborate with validation teams to verify image quality improvements. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile camera tuning. + Proven experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and camera tuning tools, or MediaTek platforms and camera tuning tools. + Experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation. + Proficiency in camera testing under various lighting conditions. + Familiarity with image quality metrics and testing methodologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with multiple OEM camera tuning projects. + Understanding of computational photography. + Expertise in using camera tuning tools (Qualcomm/MediaTek). + Understanding of RAW image processing. + Knowledge of common image quality issues and solutions. + Experience with lab equipment for camera testing. Work Environment The position requires onsite work 4-5 days a week in our client lab, providing an opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge technology and equipment in a collaborative environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
