Responsibilities
Answer, screen, and direct calls for entire companyDistinguish the need for emergency transportationPre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for the patientsArrange specialty and critical care transportationProvide information and assistance for customer service inquires as neededCommunicate with multiple departments and EMS personalProvide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transportDevelop effective solutions for customer service issuesDirect calls to Flight desk as appropriateOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Pleasant, professional phone mannerDetail orientedTyping skills of 30 wpm or betterAbility to excel in high-stress environmentAdapt to frequently changing policiesAbility to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognizing when to apply them.Medical background a plusEMD certification will be required within 1 year of employment
