This opportunity will support Indonesia’s economic development and investment in high-quality, climate resilient infrastructure and support Indonesia’s transition to net-zero emissions. CDM Smith seeks Cross-Cutting experts with expertise in the areas listed below: • GEDSI Specialist (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) • Indigenous Peoples Specialist • Stakeholder Engagement Specialist • Policy/Regulatory Specialist • Training and Capacity Building Specialist • Public Procurement Specialist • Project Finance Specialist • MEL Specialist • Information Management Specialist Responsibilities (categorized by specialty): Project Management & Coordination • Facilitate communication between donors, implementing partners, and government stakeholders. • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones across technical and administrative teams. • Support adaptive management and troubleshooting of implementation challenges. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) • Design and implement MEL frameworks aligned with donor requirements. • Collect, analyze, and report performance data to inform decision-making. • Coordinate learning activities and knowledge sharing across project components. Finance & Compliance • Ensure financial reporting aligns with donor regulations and internal controls. • Support budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control across departments. • Assist with audits and donor reviews, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate. Procurement & Contract Management • Support procurement planning and ensure compliance with donor procurement rules. • Track contract performance and manage vendor relationships. • Maintain procurement documentation and support transparency efforts. Environmental & Social Safeguards • Monitor compliance with environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank). • Conduct stakeholder consultations and grievance redress mechanisms. • Support risk assessments and mitigation planning. Gender & Social Inclusion • Integrate gender equity and social inclusion strategies into project activities. • Monitor participation and benefits across different demographic groups. • Provide training and capacity building on inclusive practices.
