A day in the Life:

Calibrate, adjust, and maintain a variety of measuring instruments to strict standards.Prepare and manage calibration data reports and documentation.Collaborate with customers, vendors, and management to resolve issues and ensure quality.

To be successful in this role, you must be ambitious, have a proven track record in calibration, and demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills.

Education

A University or Community College degree in a scientific field with laboratory experience or 5 years of work experience in a technology-related field.

Experience

Broad range of scientific laboratory experience.Experience with various computer systems for data analysis.Proven independent work experience.Demonstrated customer skills.Direct calibration experience in handling, calibrating, or maintaining equipment in a regulated environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Capable of self-management.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Primarily works in a Metrology Lab and office environment.Potential for extended periods of sitting and repetitive work.May need to lift 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.Personal protective equipment, including lab coats, coveralls, and safety glasses, may be required.
