Juarez** **Purpose:** Completes tasks for the support function of the Facilities Repair & Maintenance area, and follows administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Contributes to the achievement of operational targets by executing tasks that are typically routine, with some deviation from standard practice. Organizes workflow of routine processes to support the Executive Team efficiently and productively. Ensures facility, IT, and other departmental office requests from the Executive Team are managed ensuring follow up and projects are completed. Maintains well-organized electronic filing system that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information. Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo. **You will be responsible for** **:** + Performs calibrations to dimensional equipment using equipment such as optical comparator, vision system and/or pattern blocks. + Performs calibration to equipment which indicates pressure and temperature with a moderate degree of difficulty and by using the Standards, thermocouples and connectors indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician. + Calibrates scales, timers and tachometers by using the standards indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician. Documentation: + Records the readings obtained in the measuring on the calibration certificates. + Follows the calibration procedures to perform his/her tasks. + Enters the information of the calibration certificates in the system (MAXIMO). + Labes and identifies the equipment in which he/she performs calibration. + Follows the Good Manufacturing Practices procedures (GMPs). + Applies the regulations stated by the metrology international standards such as ISO 17025, Guide 25, ANSI and others. Organization: + Maintains his/her place of work clean and organized. + Can provide technical assistance and guidance to lower level technicians. + Provides support and follows instructions from the Calibration Senior and Principal Technicians. + Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management + level + Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental + practices as applicable. + For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all + Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and + Company regulations, policies, and procedures + Performs other duties assigned as needed **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Technical studies Desirable in any of these areas: Electromechanical Technician or Instrumentalist Technician. + Desirable 3 to 5 years of experience with measuring equipment such as optical comparator, vision systems, micrometers, verniers, pattern blocks, pressure and temperature standards, speed, time and dead weight. + Knowledge of Mechanics and Electricity. + Basic knowledge of Metrology International Regulations. + Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical blueprints. + Use and application of programs in Windows and MS Office. + Desirable, Ability to read and understand English, at least 50%. + Knowledge of basic Metrology and regulation requirements such as ISO 10012, calibration regulations applicable to laboratory.
