Calibration Technician II
Job Title: Calibration Technician II Location: Portage, MI Hours/Schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm Type: Contract Overview Global Medical Device company looking to hire experienced Calibration Technician to join their growing team. Must bring a High School Diploma and 1+ years of experience within a manufacturing/GMP environment. Responsibilities + Performs in-house servicing and repair of orthopedic and neurosurgical medical device products at local service center. + Diagnoses, repairs and tests mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. + Ensure the quality and traceability of each device through preventative maintenance and programming. + Performs maintenance, cleaning, testing and calibration of repaired products. + Follow clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making during a manufacturing process (GMP) + Follow detailed and defined rules / instructions and to make simple judgement in straightforward situations regarding the repair of medical devices Requirements + High School Diploma Required + 1 year or more of Manufacturing or similar experience required Benefits System One offers eligible employees health and welfare benefits coverage options, including medical, dental, vision, spending accounts, life insurance, voluntary plans, and participation in a 401(k) plan.
