Our client, a leader in the metrology industry, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Calibration Technician
**Location:** North Kingstown, RI
**Pay Range: $21-23**
**Shift:** 2nd- 3:30PM-11:30PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Understand the Metrology Portable Service ISO 17025 Quality Systems.
+ Aide with performing accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment to appropriate standards.
+ Assist with documenting and reporting results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards.
+ Maintain company equipment in good working order and ensure equipment selected for use is calibrated and current.
+ Learn from and study experienced Calibration Technicians’ techniques and work.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 1 – 3 years of related experience.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in Calibration of PCMM's and/or Machine repair.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of SMax.
