This internship takes place in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the headquarters of Bosch North America, in the Calibration Engineering group of Power Solutions.
Calibration is the process of finding the perfect parameters which make engines and vehicles perform at their best. If you'd like to know more about what a Calibration Engineer does, watch this video: https://youtu.be/qrx9fSYmUHI
The successful candidate will be given an 8-month project in one of two areas, based on their skills and career focus.
These include supporting:
Calibration Tool/Efficiency Development Projects
Creation and programming of automated test scriptsData exploration, analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelingData mining and pattern recognitionSoftware In-the-Loop simulation development and testingSupport learning and collaboration events (Hack-a-thon, Coding/AI training, etc.)Additional support and learning about Calibration Engineer's daily activities (flashing vehicles, analyzing data, validating software and data, etc.)If you're interested to work in a collaborative, learning culture where interns work on meaningful projects, join our team!

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, and/or Computer Science with at least one semester completedA minimum 3.0 GPAMust be a minimum of 18 years of ageMust work 30-40 hours per weekValid US driver's licensePreferred Qualifications
Automotive-related hobby and/or experience working with engines or vehicles. 1+ year academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.
