Job RequirementsMechanical aptitude for precision assembly, disassembly, and adjustments
Computer savvy; ability to operate calibration software and maintain digital records
Basic electrical knowledge; multimeter/oscilloscope use (electrical experience a plus)
Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, drawings, and procedures
Familiarity with measurement principles for electronic, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro-mechanical, and pressure instruments
Preferred SkillsExperience calibrating pressure gauges, tension meters, and signal generators
Knowledge of calibration standards, traceability, and uncertainty concepts
Hands-on with statistical process control or other quality control procedures
Experience setting up calibration sequences using documented methods
Basic repair skills for component replacement and parts refurbishment
ResponsibilitiesCalibrate electronic test and signal-generating equipment to established standards
Test, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro-mechanical, and pressure-type instruments
Set up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures per specifications and drawings
Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts on test equipment
Document results, maintain calibration records, and label instruments with status and due dates
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
