Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in **Dundee** has an exciting opportunity for a **Calibration Engineer** to join the team. **MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB** + Own the **full lifecycle of calibration** for site equipment—from implementation to decommissioning. + Schedule and perform calibration and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality standards. + Partner with operations and engineering teams to **minimize downtime** and keep production running smoothly. + Manage calibration data in our **Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)** and generate reports for audits and KPIs. + Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to resolve calibration issues quickly and effectively. + Support **continuous improvement** by reviewing procedures and identifying opportunities for efficiency. + Act as the **subject matter expert** for calibration during quality audits. **REQUIREMENTS** + **Education:** Degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience). + **Skills:** + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. + Ability to interpret technical data and make risk-based decisions. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + **Experience:** + Familiarity with calibration processes and CMMS (Maximo experience is a plus). + Previous engineering or maintenance experience desirable.
