In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tenant billing, directly contributing to the financial success of our portfolio. You will be a key player in interpreting lease agreements, calculating financial obligations and collaborating with our surveying team. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of lease structures and property billing practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality financial outputs that support operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** **Lease Abstraction & Data Tracking:** Carefully review and interpret lease agreements, extracting key financial clauses related to RPI/CPI adjustments, rent reviews, and service charge calculations. Build and maintain accurate tracking models to calculate and update tenant obligations. **Billing & Reporting:** Generate accurate and timely rent and service charge demand changes for a diverse range of tenants, adhering to lease terms. Maintain a comprehensive register of all RPI/CPI calculations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Produce regular billing reports and analyse data to identify discrepancies and potential errors. **Collaboration & Communication:** + Collaborate effectively with the surveying team to document rent and service charge changes alongside supporting tenant engagement. + Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and lease interpretations **Process Improvement & Compliance:** + Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance. + Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place and consistently followed for all key tasks. + Maintain and update in-house databases, spreadsheets and trackers for accurate reporting. **Additional Responsibilities:** + Support turnover rent calculations and lease interpretation as needed. + Handle ad hoc duties as assigned. **What You'll Bring:** **Skills & Experience:** + Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to interpret financial data. + Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. + Understanding of lease structures, property billing practices and relevant financial terminology. + Proficiency in full Microsoft package with focus on Excel (advanced skills preferred). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. **Desirable Experience:** + Experience with TRAMPS & YARDI accounting systems preferred + Understanding the basic principles of lease documentation and associated RPI/CPI and Service Charge Cap clauses would be advantageous **About CBRE Group, Inc.** CBRE Group, Inc.
