CAHPS Operations & Improvement Lead Product Manager

 Humana seeks a strategic and results-driven Lead Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the Patient Experience Survey product. This position is responsible for setting the product vision, driving innovation, and delivering superior patient-centered solutions that contribute to measurable improvements in care and service across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable product strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise goals, as well as be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences.


The Lead Product Manager will work to develop a product strategy that delivers insights and enables comprehensive analytics that are meaningful to develop forecasting and targeted improvement in healthcare quality with our Medicare population. This role will product development, lead execution of tactics, collaborative development of strategy, status updates to leadership, and results of programs and their impact to results on the Medicare CAHPS and Health Outcomes Survey. This role will advise executives and senior leadership to develop functional strategies that broadly impact the Medicare Stars program.  This role will also develop partnerships with analytics organizations to further strategic use of data and insights.

Key Responsibilities: 

Develop, communicate, and execute the product vision and strategy for the Patient Experience Survey product 

Own and manage the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, requirements gathering, roadmap development, launch, and ongoing optimization. 

Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, analytics, clinical leadership, experience design, and operations, as well as external partners, to understand and address patient needs. 

Define and analyze key performance indicators, including survey engagement rates, insights relevance, and impact on Stars and other quality metrics. 

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and customer feedback to enhance survey effectiveness and user experience. 

Identify market and regulatory trends, proactively adjusting strategy to maintain competitive advantage and compliance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, design, mathematics, or information technology  

Minimum 7 years of product management, healthcare technology, patient engagement, and/or survey analytics experience

Demonstrated success in launching and managing products and leading cross-functional teams. 

Excellent communication, leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills. 

Proficiency with agile frameworks, analytical tools, and standard product management platforms. 

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree 

Experience designing data collection strategy 

Experience with Medicare CAHPS and/or HOS

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$126,300 - $173,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
