As a Hotel Line Cook, you will tempt the palettes of our guests with your attention to detail in presentation, quality, and safe serving temperatures.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate menu planning with Executive Chef/Sous Chef to ensure that food costs are maintained Plan special menus for holiday and staff functions Practice safety standards at all times to maintain a safe work environment. Report to work in a clean uniform, on time, and ready to serve. Monitor quality and amounts of food on service line Anticipate usage levels and prepare replenishments on a timely basis work with Cafeteria Line server/Attendant to ensure optimum service for the employees Prepare all meals following recipes and yield guidesQualifications:
Prior culinary or kitchen experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
