Job Description

Join our Advanced Vehicle Crash Safety team as a CAE Engineer General, where you will play a pivotal role in developing full vehicle structural crashworthiness finite element models. Your work will contribute to next-generation Vehicle Platform Architectures for electric vehicles, focusing on safety and regulatory compliance.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop full vehicle structural crashworthiness finite element models using ANSA, PRIMER, and HYPERMESH.Perform structural safety analysis using LS-Dyna and Hyper works to assess vehicle crashworthiness for various impact scenarios.Correlate CAE performance with test results and document best practices for future development.Responsible for safety finite element analysis of crash modes, ensuring innovative and optimized solutions.Support quick concept development utilizing morphing tools to deliver new and emerging ideas.Create standard work procedures for delivering quality models and simulation results.Work in a cross-functional environment to identify and overcome technical challenges.Participate in design reviews and present CAE model build status.Make recommendations to improve the model build/integration workflow.Essential SkillsProficiency in LS-Dyna, ANSA, PRIMER, and HYPERMESH.5+ years of experience in vehicle crashworthiness analysis.Expertise in structural safety analysis for regulatory compliance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in CAE modeling and simulation.Familiarity with USNCAP, FMVSS, Euro NCAP, ECE, and IIHS standards.Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, where you will be part of a collaborative and innovative engineering team. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, contributing to the advancement of electric vehicle safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
