KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver high quality Perforce support services and infrastructure for engineering community
• Maintaining and supporting existing infrastructure automation system with some incremental enhancement
• Mentoring junior level of contractors in Perforce

THE ROLE:
This is a great opportunity to develop and maintain world-class chip-design infrastructure in a fast-paced production environment on the very edge of modern technology! The methodology infrastructure team at AMD builds the platform that automates cutting-edge chip design. To do this, part of the effort is to provide infrastructure automation for applications on the network, including usage and status monitoring, automated alert system, or give metrics report to management, etc.

You are a highly motivated self-starter, who is passionate about solving problems and reaching goals. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and collaborate well with others on your geographically distributed team, as well as with other business units.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent knowledge and experience with version control software (e.g. Perforce, GIT)
• Excellent UNIX and scripting programming skills (Python, Perl, and Linux Shell)
• Proficient knowledge of Linux environments with globally networked file systems
• Proficiency using MySQL is a plus
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's (2+ years) or Master's Degree (0+ years) in Computer or SW Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred.
