Job Description
The CAD Drafter supports engineering activities such as CAD design and mechanical layouts. This position reports to the Engineering Team Lead.
You will report to the Engineering Team Leader and work on-site from either our Mequon or Richland Center locations.
FunctionalIndividual custom mechanical design and panel layouts for system hardware technicians.Help in with custom mechanical work on detailed hardware layouts.Provide updates to technican /engineer on the status of requested activities.May participate in project meetings, production handover, and continuous improvement projectsLeadershipBe a self-starter on mechanical requestsInterpersonalCreate / Pull Part numbersCreate the Engineering Change Notices to release part numbersCoordinate with other departments as necessary to satisfy their project needs.Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction.Responsible for meeting project schedule, engineering hour's budget, and customer satisfaction targets.Must be commercially aware of the impact to the business performing the CAD Drafter function to the benefit of the company and customers.The Essentials - You Will Have:
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering design.Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.The Preferred - You Might Have:
