Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to support our architects and interior designers in developing detailed drawings and construction documents for hospitality projects. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AutoCAD and understands the nuances of both architectural and interior design documentation. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate architectural and interior design drawings, plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD. • Convert conceptual sketches, designer mark-ups, and redlines into clear, buildable construction documents. • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and interior designers to ensure all drawings meet design intent, brand standards, and building codes. • Maintain organized digital files and drawing sets throughout the design and construction phases. • Assist with revisions and updates to plans during permitting and construction administration. Skills and Requirements • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or other design software a plus. • 2+ years of drafting experience, ideally in hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential projects. • Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building codes. • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
