CAD Drafter\n

Coilcraft is a successful, privately held company in Cary, IL with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. We operate in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications and consumer electronics. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D CAD Draftsperson to join our engineering team. This role will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining detailed 3D models and technical drawings to support product development and manufacturing.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop precise 3D CAD models and 2D drawings based on design concepts, sketches, or specifications.\nRevise and update existing drawings to reflect engineering changes.\nWork closely with engineers and designers to ensure models and drawings meet functional and manufacturing requirements.\nMaintain drawing and model documentation in accordance with company standards.\nSupport prototype builds and provide accurate drawings to manufacturing teams.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate's degree in Drafting\/Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.\nProficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).\nStrong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and technical drawing standards (GD&T experience a plus).\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and production staff.\n\n
