CAD Drafter

Summary: Seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to create detailed technical drawings and models using SolidWorks for a temporary 6-9 month contract.

Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent in CAD drafting, mechanical engineering technology, or related field

2-4 years' experience as a CAD Drafter

Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D and 3D modeling)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Experience in fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environments

Basic knowledge of industry standards for part design and documentation

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers to develop precise CAD drawings, models, and assemblies using SolidWorks

Create and revise technical drawings based on engineering input

Ensure drawings meet design standards, specifications, and tolerances

Maintain organized documentation of drawings and related files

Use Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting related to projects

Pay: 28-32

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
