We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with expertise in AutoCAD and Rhino to join our dynamic design team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision and creativity, and who enjoys transforming concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models. You’ll play a key role in supporting architectural, engineering, and product design projects, ensuring deliverables meet both project specifications and industry standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and RhinoCollaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret and visualize design conceptsEnsure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specificationsRevise and refine designs based on stakeholder feedbackPrepare detailed documentation including plans, elevations, sections, and construction detailsConduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistencyAssist in creating visual presentations and renderings using Rhino or related pluginsMaintain organized project files and documentationStay current with CAD software updates and design trendsQualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field2–3 years of professional experience as a CAD DrafterProficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and Rhino (3D modeling and parametric design)Familiarity with additional design software such as Revit, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plusStrong understanding of technical drawing standards and GD&TExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesStrong time management skills in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of construction processes, materials, or manufacturing techniques is preferredPreferred SkillsExperience with Rhino plugins such as GrasshopperAbility to produce photorealistic renderings using Rhino, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar softwareFamiliarity with BIM workflowsBasic understanding of engineering or architectural design principlesPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
