CAD Designer
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Develop 3D piping models in CADWorx Plant Professional based on P&IDs, engineering specifications, and design requirements. + Create piping layouts, general arrangements, equipment models, and pipe supports. + Generate isometric drawings, material take-offs (MTOs), and fabrication spool drawings. + Ensure models comply with ASME codes, project standards, and client specifications. + Conduct clash detection and coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams. + Review and incorporate vendor data, equipment drawings, and field changes. + Participate in design reviews and provide design solutions for routing challenges. **Who You Are:** + Experience in piping design within industrial facilities such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, refining, power, or water treatment plants. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Strong hands-on experience with CADWorx Plant Professional and AutoCAD, since CADWorx is AutoCAD-based. + Strong understanding of P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and industry codes (ASME B31.3, B31.1). + Familiarity with pipe classes, valves, fittings, and standard piping components. + Ability to work independently and handle multiple design tasks simultaneously. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** + By joining Emerson, you will be given the opportunity to make a difference through the work you do.
