Job Title: CAD Designer - Project Contract

Job Description

Join a pioneering team in the aerospace industry as a CAD Designer, where you will create and revise drawings for innovative UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) designs. Leverage your expertise in aerospace design, SolidWorks, and composite materials to contribute to cutting-edge UAS projects.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed fuselage and part drawings for UAS using SolidWorks based on models.Define and draft composite part drawings to provide precise specifications for layup and assembly.Revise and update existing designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications.Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD design and SolidWorks.Experience in aerospace designStrong understanding of composite materials and mechanical design.Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NX software is advantageous.Knowledge of composite, metallic (including machined aluminum), and plastic parts.Ability to work with various fasteners.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
